The Monte-Carlo Rally will open the 2022 edition of the World Rallye Championship (WRC) from its homebase in Monaco, instead of the usual host-city of Gap since 2014 in the Alps. This was a wish of the Organizing Committee at the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) in order to orchestrate the multiple celebrations of the 90th edition of the most glamourous rally in the world. As 95% of the route has been modified, compared to last year, it will be, more than ever, a perfect mix between conservatism and originality, thanks to a set of very demanding special stages selected in the Alpes-Maritimes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

The Nice Carnival is one of the world's major carnival events, alongside the Brazilian Carnival, Venetian Carnival, and Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

Once a year, the “Combat Naval fleuri” Sea Battle of the Flowers) takes place in gorgeous Villefranche-sur-mer.  This traditional event is held in the sea in front of Port de la Sante. The crowd watchs the beauty of the decorated drifters.

The boats are decorated with Carnation and Mimisa flowers where every boat represents a different unique motive.

Since 1934, the Lemon Festival has lit up the French Riviera in yellow. The famous citrus, cultivated not far from there, dresses all kinds of scenery and serves as a pretext for a beautiful party for 15 days under the sun of the Mediterranean.

Cannes Lions has confirmed that the awarding of the Lions will take place as usual during the third week of June 2022.

"For more than 65 years Cannes Lions has set the benchmark for great creative work," said Lions Managing Director Simon Cook, "and we look forward to presenting the work to the Juries in June.’’

Cannes Lions has announced changes to the 2022 Awards which include the launch of the Creative B2B Lion and an evolved Creative Commerce Lion. The awards, which each year set the global benchmark for creative excellence in branded communications, will open for entries on 20 January with judging and awarding taking place in Cannes in June.

      The Jazz à Juan Festival is the oldest jazz festival in Europe! Created in 1960, more than a jazz festival, Jazz à Juan is a festival of African-American music and its derivatives that should be talked about. Although jazz is of course present, it is not in the majority.

Even after 70 years, the Nice Jazz Festival is still where the legends of jazz meet up.

Over the years, the event has expanded to include current music – recent years have been marked by eclectic programming bringing together artists from all backgrounds. Among the most striking: Jamie Cullum, Kool & The Gang, Massive Attack, IAM, Herbie Hancock, Mary J. Blige or the R’n’B legend Lauryn Hill who in 2015 gave one of the most unforgettable performances of the festival.

·       Head to the famous Palais des Festivals in Cannes for “Les Plages Électroniques”, which will be celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2022.

During three days of rave, the expected 40,000 fans will swing their hips on a 40,000 m2 dancefloor in total turmoil. It must be said that the decibels coming out of the turntables of some 60 artists, spread over 4 stages, will make the festival vibrate. A birthday that promises to be good !
